Only knowledge I will save"

What follows is a list of places that I frequent, as well as various links to things I find interesting or funny. Enjoy.

Sinfest - An online comic containing humorous observations on pop culture, religion, gender relations, and society in general.

Sluggy Freelance - The ongoing adventures of a group of friends. Contains homicidal rabbits, talking ferrets, mad scientists, aliens, and more plot twists than you can shake a stick at.

Something Awful - Arguably the best humor site on the net, with daily articles about current events, the personal lives of the SA staff, or perhaps just some ranting about Nazis or Zombies or pirates. Also includes movie and game reviews, and is home to the most evil Photoshoppers on the planet.

The Anime Web Turnpike - The biggest source for all things anime on the net. If it's anime-related, chances are good you'll find it here.

Daigakusei no Ranma / Daigakusei no Ukyou - One of the better Ranma 1/2 fanfics out there. Chronicles the lives of the Ranma cast in college.

 E-bay - I'm guessing most of you already know what this place is. Just about anything you can imagine, and a few things you can't can be found for sale here. Be careful though, it's not called The Otaku Crackhouse for nothing. ^^;

The Poet's Home Page - "A good man, sir. Not someone to trust with a sharp object, but a good man." The webspace of a friend of mine, where one can peruse information on RPGs, Literature, Angband, and comic books. Also be sure to check out the Stupid Philosophical Question and the Weirdo Guild.

Aerith's Web Garden - Online Roleplay logs, anime reviews, editorials, and a veritable treasure trove of links make up this site. *NOTICE* This link no longer seems to work. If the site still exists, and you know its current address, please let me know.

The Evil Cave - Another friend's webspace, this one has art, quotes, humor, and the weirdest online survey you've ever taken.

Shinji's Vault of Anime MSTings - Truly horrible anime fanfiction made more bearable by inserting funny commentary at key moments. Some very funny stuff is in here; I personally reccomend the works of Megane 6.7. He is the king.

Zany Video Game Quotes - Four words: A winner is you!

Seanbaby.com - Remember those ads for Hostess products in the old comic books? The ones where the hero thwarts the villain by giving him a fruit pie/twinkie/cupcake? Well, this guy's got them all up on his web page, along with some hilarious commentary regarding them. I can't say that I agree with his views on God, or a few other things, but as long as you're not easily offended, you will laugh at most of this site's content. Also of note are his reviews of various NES games, and his Superhero test.

The Bad Candy Website - These fellows provide an invaluable public service. They sample the worst candy on Earth, so we won't have to face the pain of it ourselves. They also manage to make doing so very entertaining to read. I salute you, gentlemen.

WebRPG - A site with news regarding RPGs, as well as other things like gamer directories and hosting for online games. My personal favorite part of this site is the Top 20 list, which is usually amusing.

Old Man Murray - A site in which a couple of guys named Chet and Erik lambaste bad computer games, and occasionally give kudos to good ones. Their commentary is very amusing, and may be the most fun you'll ever have reading a video game review.

If I ever become an Evil Overlord... - A comprehensive(and amusing) list of everything that one should remember if one ever considers trying to take over the world.

If I ever become an Anime Character... - Like the above, similarly helpful things to remember if you have aspirations of becoming an anime character, hero, villain, or anything in between.

Audiofind - MP3s upon MP3s. Enter the song title or artist you're looking for and the server will provide a list of MP3s available for download. NOTE: Some of the links to the MP3s don't work, which can get frustrating. However, in a lot of cases, it's still your best bet if you're looking for a song.

Otakuworld - Your definite source for anime-related desktop themes, games, screen savers, software toys, and other such things.

The Wandering Wayfarer - A message board for the discussion of RPGs, amongst other things like jokes, current events, cheese, and anything else the place's general populace wish to discuss. Be warned: it can get pretty weird at times...

Improfanfic - Round-robin style writing for anime stories. Mostly originals, but there are a couple that are based on anime and video games. Naturally, the quality of the writing varies with the author, but most of them are pretty good. You can even join in on stories that are open to new signups.

Translate Tokimeki Memorial - Tokimeki Memorial is a very popular Playstation game in Japan. You can find information on the game here, as well as sign an internet petition to get it translated and brought over here. Over 1000 signatures and climbing.

B.J. Zanzibar's World of Darkness - A large archive of homebrewed supplements for White Wolf's World of Darkness RPG. Includes the famous Highlander rules.
